Krismas sketch

A quick Krismas sketch.

Click to enlarge. Maybe I'll need to do a Candy Cane Crinoid Forest. Hm.

I love this post by Dale McGowan about "Krismas" as an explanation for how many celebrate the solstice season.

What a fitting representation of a 'flying trilobite' Christmas.

Love the quirky posture of the tree.

Thanks Marco!

I'm happier with the tree than the ornaments. If I have the time later I may erase those layers and re-do the ornaments in a more cel-shaded style to make them pop.

Love this tree, and I think a candy cane crinoid forest would be AMAZING.

Such a sweet piece of art! I love my eclectic collection of ornaments, but I've always thought it'd be really cool to do an undersea creature theme tree. If I do, I promise to put a Trilobite at the top.

Thanks David! I'll see if I can squeeze a canday cane crinoid scene in before the baby arrives. :-)

Thanks so much Trish! And you will post many pictures, yeah? We have a mermaid with a candy cane ornament. I have no idea where we got it.

And have you seen this e-card?

Nice! The sway of the tree sets off the image !

Thanks Katie! It's listening to Bing Crosby.
