I'm thinking about calling the series, "Lights". I'm planning next to do Jane Goodall, Rosalind Franklin, Eugenie Scott and mmmmaaaybe, Carl Sagan.
Quality is somewhat sacrificed for time, but I suppose they're passable.

Thanks, Dee! There is such a richness to scientific discovery, I like to lend it's use to stand in for other things. It widens our visual vocabulary.
(By the way, couldn't figure out how to comment on your blog. The Japanese manhole cover is more likely emblazoned with a swastika because of the symbol's roots in Buddhism than because of Nazis. But I'm just guessing.)
Probably. ^.^ Just the first thing that comes to mind is the nazi's, and Japan's connections with that. I didn't know it was related to Buddhism, so thanks for that. ^.^

No worries, Dee. One of the less heinous crimes of the Nazis was co-opting symbols from other cultures and perverting their meaning.
