Trilobite Boy #5: Arrival

The new page is up!

This is a lower quality version than the one at the webcomic. Click to see it!

I did this one in ArtRage 3, mostly with the watercolours. The Royal Ontario Museum is one of my favourite places to go and draw, and I've loved it since I was a kid. The new design is something I wanted to highlight too. It's stunning.

You can also view the new page large, here, or below the fold.

i like the museum guardian.

have to say i'm a big unfan of tumblr, and will only be reading what you post here. tumblr opens up way too many new windows on my machine.

Hey Married Man!

I understand your trepidation about Tumblr: I decided though it is such a popular platform I would try Trilobite Boy there as an experiment, and see if it helps that story gain popularity.

What do you mean it opens too many windows on your machine? Pop-ups? I haven't seen any. Confused.

Thanks on the wedding

Oh I'm not suggesting stop using it, but maybe post Trilobite Boy here too, as I was trying to catch the installments that weren't here on Flying Trilobite.

The extra windows were just trying to open the strips. Rather than a nice linear navigation setup, I had to individually open each strip. To do this easily I had to open them in new windows. Otherwise I'd have to head back to the main page to get to the next strip.

For a lazy (grumpy) "old" user like myself it detracted from your work (as figuring out the proper order was tougher too), and I probably won't go to the effort to catch up in future catch up situtations.

I'm not trying to be captain bring down though. I did like the strips, (my favourite being the Criniod Tower and Ichthyosaur curled dreaming) but more places for potential readers to find them can't hurt right... Especially new social media phobes like myself :P

Posts over 14 days old have their comments held in moderation - I've been getting an unusual amount of spam for a guy who paints trilobites. I'll release it lickety-split though.
