I've been invited to play with Blogger's new Blogs in Draft template features, so expect that I'll be messing around a bit for the next couple of days.
As you were, Private.

Oooh, pretty. Looking sharp, dude. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest.
I really need to give my blog a makeover...
I still need to somehow centre the blog banner (I'll probably make a new file image with a bunch of white off to the left side to give the appearance of centering it.)
There's all sorts of crazy new background image options...I'd like to do something similar to my Twitter background with all the grey scale pencil drawings back there, but so far you can't add custom ones. It is apparently next on the list for blog improvements.
if you check out blog busters, she gives get step by steps on how to change and improve your blog. that's how i created both the none standard (up till now anyways) layouts for both the t-rex chrons and ART Evolved.
It's pretty simply to upload a custom background. all you need to do is upload the image onto flickr and cut and paste it's URL into your blogs html template.
i'll find you the relevant tutorial on her site when i get back (just reading this before jetting sadly)
looking good though.
you should also think about throwing together some pages about yourself for on here. if you have no clue what i'm talking about, i can elaborate again when i get back. (blog tweaking has become something of a hobby of mine since new years 2009).
as promised one link to blogger buster's changing your background (and a few other things) tutorial

promise to use these powers only for good :P
have fun mucking with the blog!
Yeah, I may use the page function at some point. So far I'm not satisfied with it. It makes more sense to me for Art Evolved the way you've done it. Except for Art Monday (returning this week revamped!) I don't have regular features.
I think I'm done tweaking for the moment. I do like the plain white matching my gallery site and store.
I get restless though. I may take you up on that yet.
Oh cool! We were like, posting at the same time.
Thanks Traum!
lol okay that was cool (but said we can't see each other)...
i was thinking you could put a biography about yourself on one of the seperate blogger pages, a sample portfolio, and that kind of thing here too (in addition to your new proper website). i've been doing it over on weapon of mass imagination (added a portfolio, but more to come!)
found the other tutorial on backgrounds

Just as one data point in your ongoing process, it's lovely just at the moment.
Thanks Stephanie! The new functionality they've added has many dazzling possibilities, but I like the small changes I'm making so far.
Craig, yeah, I think something like a page with a few clickable pictures to take people to my online store, and maybe one for the bio listed in my sidebar may work.
I kind of wish the pages could just whisk you away to my glendonmellow.com or my online store directly. I'm happy with the bar I've added in that respect.
