Avimimus sketch
Had some fun with textures and feathers on this Avimimus sketch earlier in the summer.
Thought I'd post it now, since there's an interesting discussion started by Craig Dylke over at ART Evolved about dinosaur feathers and accuracy in science art and film.

ReplyDeleteHe (She?) looks very wise, like the old earthy creatures from Dark Crystal. Love the texture on his face! What would the rest of his body look like?
ReplyDeleteGreat sketch!
ReplyDeleteThanks Peter! Wow! Dark Crystal! High praise indeed. There were a few years as a teen when I thought working for the Henson Creature Shop would be the greatest imaginable job. I think I still do.
